This year, Total Utility Connections will participate in the Mr. X Toy Appeal, a cause that has brought happiness to thousands of less fortunate children since 1959.
The appeal is led by our colleague, Hannah Blake, who has worked tirelessly to involve as many people as possible. We spoke to Hannah to learn more about the toy appeal and why she is eager to be involved. She expressed, 'I first learned about the Mr. X Appeal approximately eight years ago and have continued to be a part of it every year. It breaks my heart to know that there are so many children who won't wake up to presents under the tree. Christmas is the most magical time of the year, and if I can make a difference, whether it's big or small, to ensure a child has a present to open every year, I'm all in.'
